DEBTOR'S PRISON
The Age
Friday April 2, 2010
Do not look for the future, it is gone, tossed away far, clean as a wish-boneover the shining shoulder of a dragon. And oh! the silver clogs we bought and now repent, those credit cards we spent to space like rockets:the past-tense has heavied our shallow pockets.Same old same old. And the present-tensecares only for itself and will not cleanseout our wounds like a loving fellow cat.Use what strength you can to sorry-smileat tomorrow's better woman, who all the whileflexes her teeth and can't help but regret you.
